So I am crafting with two of my friends this morning and Brenda mentioned that she almost forgot to schedule a post for this morning and I said, "oh really one that I am a part of"? to which she replied, "the one you helped create"! OMG it has been a crazy week and our daughter is currently at the Ortho clinic finding out if her cast is coming off today for good so my mind has been elsewhere :)

But here we are with a playful week at Colour Me...! We would LOVE to see what you all do with this week's colours... 

Our challenge ends on Mondays at 12:00 pm (EST). We have a few rules to keep things fun and fair!

1. Any type of paper crafty projects are welcome - greeting cards, 3D projects, scrapbooking, digital or traditional paper crafts, costumes, if it's craft we want to see it!

Colour Me... Subtle!

Welcome to this week's challenge at Colour Me...! This week we are going with some simply serene and subtle colours :) Baked Brown Sugar, Soft Sky & Pistachio Pudding!

I made this card for a very special little boy who just happens to be celebrating his birthday 1 day before mine :) His mother reached out on Facebook because Colin was not very excited about his upcoming birthday because due to his disabilities, social skills are difficult for him and he felt that no one would want to help him celebrate. 

His page (that he still knows nothing about!) now has over 2 million likes and his parents have been receiving thousands of birthday cards and gifts in the mail to him so far. So very moving to see how many truly wonderful people there are out there wanting to come together to help make this little guys 11th birthday one he will never forget!

Life Is An Adventure Alright!

So yesterday our little lady was being a daredevil while her mama was in the loo and fell off the couch. Her big brother tried to catch her but he was too far away. Off to the hospital her daddy took her and she was sent home a few hours later this a diagnosed elbow sprain. Hours later she was still not using her arm without crying and just as we were having dinner the radiologist called and said he wanted Claire to come back in for a second xray as he suspected she may have a small fracture... Sure enough she did! 

We should have known it would be our little bull in a china shop who would end up with the 1st cast! She had a good nights sleep and is back to her usual shenanigans today, as you can see she just couldn't wait to get back in the saddle :) So we are off to the Ortho clinic in a week to see what the next step will be in her healing! 

As I am scrapbooking our kiddos lives I thought this certainly warrants a page! I am entering this page in the challenge over at MDS Monday and the colour challenge at Create with Connie & Mary :)
