Freshly Made ~ Welcome BABY!

Good evening all! Popping in with a quick post, because I just got back from a day at Le Nordik Spa with my best friend for a belated birthday day of relaxation and I am so relaxed I just want to lie down :)

Yesterday friends of ours welcomed their second daughter into the world and so I wanted to make an extra special card for her because she is an extra special baby girl. After years of difficulty trying to start their family our friends were blessed with their first child and being told they would never conceive on their own they thought it would never happen but SURPRISE it did and now their little girl has a baby sister and they could not be happier! Cannot wait to meet their little one :)

I used the Freshly Made Sketch for this card. I chose to modify the usual way of making the Dahlia Flower by using the scallop circle punch rather than the regular circle punch. I found it made the flower pop out more and I like that!

    1. Thanks for stopping by Emie! I followed this tutorial but rather than using a regular circle punch I used the 1 3/4" scallop circle punch. You will need more petals, I made 10 for this flower.
