Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #23, Technique Time Tuesday & House of Cards ~ I Remembered and Thought...

Would you believe I emailed my mom, sister and brother to remind them about our Grandfather's birthday and then I didn't remember to call him later that day! Goodness gracious, so I created this card I send along to him :)

I made this card with the sketch from our Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge this week and also a fun technique we are testing out over at Technique Time Tuesday this month and the photo inspiration from House of Cards and lastly at 365 Cards we were asked to use a small altered art element:

    I just glanced down and spotted a glossy magazine from Yankee Candle. While leafing through it just now, I saw some really neat designs in there and have all kinds of ideas using this technique!
