Wedding Weekend!

My husband and I will be going to our friend's wedding tomorrow and we cannot wait. Mark and his twin brother are Co Best Men which is super fun and this will be the first time in well a LONG time that the Kew adults will be getting out of the house sans the kiddos for an evening of adult company and conversation, PRETTY EXCITED!!!

Of course you know me, a simple gift card holder just won't do so I thought I would whip up a fun one this evening and while I was at it play along in a few challenges...

Happy 6th Birthday Honoura!!!

My best friend's daughter is celebrating her 6th birthday this weekend and as many girls her age she is in LOVE with Frozen! Her mom and dad are planning a Frozen theme birthday party for her so I thought it was appropriate to create an extra special, one of a kind card just for her!

To create this card I used the sketch from Seize the Sketch which was PERFECT to display the image of Elsa :) And of course being that it is a birthday card I will also be playing along at Seize the Birthday! And as luck would have it this card is PERFECT for our Colour Me...! challenge this week :)

Hi there!

Each week at Colour Me...! we will have a creative colour challenge for you to get crafty and show us your best greeting cards, 3D projects, scrapbooking, digital or traditional paper crafts, costumes, etc. Only the colours we indicate may be used for your project. Neutrals such as black, gray, white, vanilla, skin colours and kraft are also welcome. 

This week we are using Coastal Cabana... have fun!

Our challenge ends on Mondays at 12:00 pm (EST). We have a few rules to keep things fun and fair!

1. Any type of paper crafty projects are welcome - greeting cards, 3D projects, scrapbooking, digital or traditional paper crafts, costumes, if it's craft we want to see it!
2. We ask that you only use the colours listed for your project and of course neutrals are always welcome.
3. Feel free to combine us with up to 3 challenges (including ours), with the exception of other colour challenges.
4. Please add our graphic to your blog with a link back to us. 
5. We reserve the right to remove any links if we feel any material submitted is offensive or found to be in poor taste, we are all here to have a good time!  

The first challenge of the month is mixed feelings for us as we say goodbye to one of our featured designers and say hello to another. This month we have the lovely and talented Shirley Bampton joining us! Thrilled to have her, pop on over to her blog and say hello...!

Awesome Day! :)

I have been so crazy busy with the preparation for my annual Stampin' UP! Retired product garage sale that I have had very little to no time to craft lately. An event that is well worth the work but thankful it is behind me for another year :)

Here is a page that I was able to create while my little lady was sleeping. We went to the beach for the first time this summer, yesterday and it was a blast (as you can see!). Turns out both of our kiddos are little fish and we love it!!! Looking forward to many more AWESOME DAYS!
