I Can and I Quill :)

Hope you are all having a lovely weekend! We had another snow storm today here in Ottawa (15 cm+) so I needed to do a little crafting to get me back in a Spring frame of mind... I decided to try a new technique that I have not tried before, Quilling :) I had a blast and I think with a little more practice I could really see myself doing this more often!!!

I made this card with the sketch from Create with Connie & Mary and the colour combo from Dynamic Duos, sadly I do not have Pale Plum so I went with the closest colour I had which was Wisteria Wonder...

  3. Hayley, this turned out just adorably! The script background looks great with the quilling (both being vintage). I love the technique you used for the petals. You came, you quilled, you conquered! Thanks for playing with the Dynamic Duos this week!

  4. Oh my gosh Hayley - I am totally impressed and in awe of this card. Your quilling looks fabulous and I love the ribbon pieces across the embossed base. I haven't been brave enough to try quilling - I don't have much patience so am not sure I could actually finish it . Bravo!
