Happy 1st Birthday Benjamin!!!

A very good friend of mine has a son who is celebrating his 1st birthday today and here is the card that I made to help make his special day a little more special :) He is quite the little monkey so his party is a monkey theme so of course you know I had to rock out a punch art monkey for such an occasion!

Turning 31 Wasn't So Bad... :)

This girl was certainly spoiled this year by not one, not two, but THREE birthday celebrations this year! 

First up was a lovely stampin' girls night/sleep over with two very good friends of mine complete with a birthday banner, balloons and a yummy cake :) 

Next up was dinner out (and very lovely flowers and moving notes) with some FABulous friends and a movie also. 

And last but certainly not least was a special dinner out, a few games of glow in the dark bowling {haven't played in over 15 years, so much fun!!!} and then some late night crafting with my Tara! 

One blessed gal to have some wonderful family and friends who sure made me feel loved!

I wanted to make a page to share some of my photos from the above mentioned fun and so I thought I would combine the MDS Monday challenge with ColourQ's combo this week :)

I Can and I Quill :)

Hope you are all having a lovely weekend! We had another snow storm today here in Ottawa (15 cm+) so I needed to do a little crafting to get me back in a Spring frame of mind... I decided to try a new technique that I have not tried before, Quilling :) I had a blast and I think with a little more practice I could really see myself doing this more often!!!

I made this card with the sketch from Create with Connie & Mary and the colour combo from Dynamic Duos, sadly I do not have Pale Plum so I went with the closest colour I had which was Wisteria Wonder...
