More Fun with MDS!

Popping in with another quick post for the day. Here are two little projects that I have made for a friend of mine who I had the pleasure of supporting through the births of her daughter and son! I LOVE being a doula <3

One of these projects I am entering in the challenge over at ColourQ and I LOVED the colour theme they were working with this week... I am also entering this card in the Anything Goes Challenge at Inkspirational.

I originally got this idea from a project my friend Tara had made for her son but I changed it up slightly by adding a photo as well :)

Our Boy is Turning 5!

So now that the hustle and bustle of the Holidays Season is coming to a close I am able to shift focus to Ethan's 5th Birthday which is coming up in February. I always like to make as much of the materials myself so I try to give myself lots of time! 

This year Ethan has decided he would like to have an Angry Birds theme birthday party and we were very excited about this idea! I love all of the vibrant colours :) 

We decided to have his party at a local Recreation facility as the idea of a bunch of 5 year olds running around our little town house did not sound like much fun to me hehe. So when Mark heard that Ethan wanted an Angry Birds party he started planning some fun themed games for the kiddos to play - I can't wait to see what he comes up with!

New Header... MDS Monday FUN!

I have wanted to create a new blog header for the winter months and when I saw today's MDS Monday sketch it was PERFECT!!! 

I tried out a new technique creating washi tape by inserting designer series paper into a photo box and ripping the edges :) SOOO FUN!!!

I am also entering this project in the anything goes challenge over at Inkspirational.

Gosh this month is just zipping by and I am happy to say I have almost finished Christmas prep! We are experiencing our biggest snow storm of the season to date and so the plan for today is hunkering down and doing some Christmas baking and crafting!!! 

That being said after mailing out my 130 Christmas Cards for this year I can safely say I am REALLY wanting to make ANYTHING but a Christmas card :) So here is one I made to share with you all this week for our Sunday Stamps colour challenge...
