AHSC #19 ~ Life is Either...

The labour day weekend will have a new meaning for us from now on. This is our last long weekend before our son starts school! We have the interview with his teacher tomorrow afternoon and then his 1st day is Thursday! Would someone please tell me where the last 4 1/2 years went?

It is all very surreal to us and honestly I am still having very mixed feelings about him being gone all day {and when I say all day I mean ALL DAY - I drop him off at 8:30am and pick him up at 3:15pm!}. Okay before the waterworks start again and I cannot see the screen I should finish my post :) I felt this sentiment was very fitting for the changes we are about to undergo as a family!

My Challenge:
Here is my Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge post for the week. We would LOVE for you to pop by and join in! Here are a few helpful guidelines to remember to keep the challenge fun for all!

  • You can create ANY project (card, scrapbook page, altered item, etc) as long as it uses our sketch.
  • Any and all products accepted; no limitations - GO NUTS!
  • Each entry must be a new project! It is fun to create afterall!
  • Your project must be shared with us using the inlinkz submission tool.
  • We ask that you submit a direct link to the project photo of your entry/blog post.
  • We ask that you create a link back to our challenge that you are entering, it must be visible on your blog post or in the photo comments if posting through an online gallery (if your link is from Photobucket, Facebook, Flickr, etc the photo privacy must be set to "public" otherwise we won't be able to come see your great project.
  • Feel free to combine your project with other challenges (except other sketch challenges of course!).
  • Must be submitted by the deadline, and...
  • MOST important: Have FUN creating :)

My Project:

Take the time to let your creativity bloom!

  2. wonderful card Hayley. Yes, time sure does fly by - we just sent our youngest to high school and he was just born yesterday :) Keeping you in our thoughts tomorrow.

  5. Beautiful beach stamps (with awesome shading!), and the sentiment says it all. Your son will adore his class (just sent #3 son off to military college; 18 years--now that is scary!) and you will be a fantastic classroom helper. Some of my favorite memories are of volunteering in the K4 classroom.
