Dynamic Duos ~ Christmas with a Twist!

Good afternoon all! When I saw this week's colour combo over at Dynamic Duos I was thinking I would like to do something different, I was not in the mood for more flowers or butterflies so I thought to myself what can I do... And this is what I came up with!

With Halloween just around the corner it is time to start thinking about what the kiddos are going to dress up as. I have been making homemade costumes since our son was born and every year it seems I am down to the wire hours before he goes out or off to a party finishing up. So this year I decided to get started a little early, so I asked him what he would like to be... AND he said he wanted to be a Panda Bear, which totally made me smile because that was his costume from last year and THANKFULLY I accidentally made it quite a bit bigger than he needed last year so IT WILL FIT! Now just to think of what we want our little lady to be... Hmmmmm 

With Halloween on the brain I decided I would make a Halloween theme card to go with both of these FABulous challenges...

A Note of Thanks!

Good evening all. Just a quick post before I hit the hay :) 

With Claire turning 1 next month {HOLY MOLY!} I am officially back to work and have been receiving quite a few inquiries since uploading my website again. One of which came as a referral from a past couple I had the pleasure of working with some years ago. It is always such a lovely thing when people come to me via people whom I have used my services and have been so pleased with them they feel comfortable recommending me!

I wanted to send along a little thank you note to this couple and felt that making a digi card to go along with it might be a nice touch. So I have used the sketch from MDS Monday and the colour theme from Create with Connie & Mary :)

Holiday Fun with Friends :)

Last weekend I went to a Holiday Card Class that my exceptionally talented friend Brenda was offering. I love having classes in my Stampin' space but it is SOOOOO nice to just walk into another class that I have not had to prep a thing for!!! The cards were so beautiful I just had to share...

And also we had a funny thing happen that almost derailed our fun. We were crafting away, minding our own business when we heard a "BOOOM" and out go the lights! We had no idea what happened but before skipping a beat Brenda hopped up and brought out head lamps for us ladies to ware so we could craft on lol

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #22 ~ Happy 3rd Birthday to Our Beautiful Niece London!

Happy Monday morning all! Today is a very special day, it is our niece London's 3rd Birthday :) Wow, time seems to be flying by these days... It has been so much fun being able to watch her grow and develop into the sweet little girl she is today. Ethan adores her and they really enjoy spending time together, makes this mama one happy gal!

When I see that colour theme it makes me think nautical so I felt I would create an ocean style card for these challenges :)

Good evening all! I am a little late getting my post live today but it is still Sunday so I think that is okay :) For this challenge we are working with a fun colour combo: Coral, Aqua/Mint & Gold! For me this colour combo made me think of an ocean theme so here we go...
